Ruth announces her late-winter 2011 classes and workshops across the Rio Grande Valley. Due to popular request she has added more Night Photography mini workshops in February and March (each one is distinctly different), as well as close-ups and backyard bird photography.

She has contracted with the City of Harlingen to conduct workshop-style classes in the Hugh Ramsey Nature Park, one of the wings of the World Birding Center.

Other News
NANPA, the North American Nature Photography Association, holds an annual summit or conference, and in March 2011 the City of McAllen, Texas, is hosting the conference! Ruth has been involved by submitting photos for the program that will be presented at Quinta Mazatlan, as well as signing on to serve as pone of the field trip leaders for the organization.
